This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced developer with at least 5 years development experience, who is looking for a role that offers a challenge and an opportunity to lead the technical direction for the team. The role is working within the NDA team who develop, maintain and support all reference data that is key to the users of Reuters products.
The role involves the technical ownership of the project and responsibility to the Project Manager (and through that person the Programme Manager) for the technical direction and health of the project. This includes review of requirements, estimating, responsibility for design and configuration management for the team.
External to the Team the role is to liaise with stakeholder groups and to ensure effective communication, using the language and terminology of the particular group. This will involve communication with Content groups, design authority, Support and Operations.

1、4 - 5 years development experience
2、3 -5 years experience of Oracle Forms & PL/SQL is mandatory;
3、3 -5 years experience of Java programming;
4、Or 3 -5 years experience in MS Visual Studio C# .NET, .Net Web-services, and XML/XSD development;
5、Ability to understand complex technical issues quickly and assess the impact of change
6、Ability to forge relationships with key reference data personnel
7、Ability to understand reference data business processes
8、Ability to provide design insight for applications owned by team
9、Review requirements and understand business and technical implications
10、Good knowledge of Unix / Solaris
11、Ability to lead the team on all technical issues affecting the team
